Every Owner-Builder participant has access to the HomeWrights Toolbox. This toolbox consists of documentation, filing systems, contractor and supplier search tools, scheduling tools and day-to-day management tools to keep each Owner-Builder client on track and on budget during their project.

The HomeWrights Toolbox also includes access to a very strong network of suppliers to support every aspect of the home building process. This includes vetted and trusted lumber companies, truss suppliers, steel suppliers, window suppliers, appliance suppliers, cabinetry manufacturers, door companies, plumbing and electrical wholesalers and many more.

One of the biggest challenges any new home builder face is finding qualified, dependable subcontractors. Without the HomeWrights Toolbox, finding subcontractors on a Google search is like rolling the dice. You never know what you’re going to get. HomeWrights has solved that problem. This program is exclusively available to Owner-Builder clients. 

Owner-Builder clients can login from their desktop or phone and select from subcontractors and service professionals that have been thoroughly vetted and frequently reviewed frequently to ensure high quality work and optimal customer service. HomeWrights clients will find all the services and trades needed to build their home from surveyors, geotechnical engineers, architects, designers, and civil engineers, to plumbers, framers, roofers and other basic trades.

Vendors referenced in the HomeWrights Toolbox sell to HomeWrights Owner-Builder clients at “builder tier” pricing. Builder tier pricing is highly variable, but certainly better than retail, with “discounts” approaching 25% on some items.

As important as the pricing component, HomeWrights Owner-Builder clients enjoy a higher level of contractor service from the vendors mentioned above. That may includes advantages such as free delivery, free estimates, free kitchen, appliance, fixture, or lighting design as well as preferred service when items are returned.
